Your typical day will involve collaborating with the Engineering team to define process parameters, supporting the supplier approval process, ensuring supplier quality meets standards, addressing supplier quality issues, reviewing manufacturing processes, and promoting continuous improvement techniques. You will be responsible for providing accurate documentation of inspection results, escalating unresolved quality issues, monitoring supplier quality and performance, reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), managing supplier cost recovery, supporting audit readiness, participating in new product development, and contributing to continuous improvement activities. Additionally, you will be involved in quality control, data analytics, strategic planning, decision support, optimization of manufacturing processes, presentation of progress at meetings, and staying updated on industry trends. The ideal candidate will have a B.E/B.Tech in relevant fields with 0-2 years of experience in quality planning, Lean Manufacturing, quality and business systems, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, TS16949, measurement techniques, and manufacturing processes. You should possess excellent communication skills, be able to work in a diverse environment, prioritize activities, work flexible shifts, and have proficiency in English. Position Summary: The associate continuous improvement manager is responsible for collaborating with CIM to ensure the execution of AutoZone's quality programs, making recommendations for optimization, supporting the onboarding of new qualified vendors to meet AZ's saving, quality, and supply chain targets, and leading efforts to ensure vendors provide consistent quality products to AutoZone. Conduct factory assessments to verify design capabilities, analyze capacity, assess quality systems, and ensure compliance. 3. Support compliance programs and assist factories in meeting AZ compliance audits. 4. Visit existing suppliers regularly to ensure consistent quality requirements are met. 5. Provide support in various quality projects, including pre-shipment inspections, product testing, and quality performance monitoring. 6. Manage quality projects and support new supplier onboarding with training on AZ quality programs. 7. Work with compliance manager to ensure factories meet compliance audits. 8. Maintain existing supplier quality performance through regular visits and monitoring. Requirements: - Ethical and compliant with corporate code of conduct. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality, preferably in the automotive parts industry. - Bachelor's degree in Operations/Supply Chain, Quality, or Engineering required; Master's degree is a plus. - Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, finance, and data analytics. - Basic retail foundation and project management skills. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities. - Analytical and statistical analysis proficiency. - Experience with Quality Management Systems such as ISO9001 or TS16949. - IRCA Certified ISO9001:2008 Lead Auditor, ISO9000, ISO/TS16949 internal auditor certification is a plus. - Willingness to travel significantly domestic and internationally based on business needs.
