Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP or IFRS), regulatory requirements, and company policies
Develop and maintain internal controls, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data
Collaborate with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes and implement audit recommendations
Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide insights to support business decisions
Cross function on improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns and compliance with tax laws
Ensure closure of books of accounts as per timelines
Compile financial reporting packages.
Respond and action compliance and audit requests originating from both internal and external stakeholders

Preferred candidate profile

CA with 3-6 Years of experience and strong communication skills, problem solving approach, teamwork and collaboration skills, critical thinking.
Experience in Month End Closures, Policy documentations, working on new constructs around new schemes and projects, Statutory and Internal Audits
