Job Description

The Manager General Accounting role at our company requires an individual who excels in engaging and communicating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a CPA and/or MBA considered a plus. A minimum of 10-12 years of relevant experience is required, preferably in a large, complex, global public company. Proficiency in leveraging information technology for financial performance enhancement is essential. Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze complex financial data and extract meaningful insights, are crucial. Additionally, you should possess a strong business acumen to translate financial analysis into strategic recommendations. Proficiency in financial analysis tools such as Excel and financial planning software is necessary, with a notable emphasis on advanced Excel skills. The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work within a fast-paced team environment is essential. Excellent communication and presentation skills are required to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. Successful collaboration with cross-functional teams and senior management is vital, as is attention to detail and accuracy in meeting deadlines. Leadership skills are also valued, including the ability to mentor and develop a team.
