Manager - Fraud Prevention & Control

Job Summary:

• Manage and conduct in depth Mortality, Frauds, Misconduct investigations received from various sources
• Responsible for driving culture in the Zone through coordination with Zonal Distribution and HR leaders
• Responsible for driving FMU initiatives and managing FMU activities in Zone

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Mortality Investigations

• Manage agencies and get in-depth investigations of Mortality cases with holistic, appropriate and precise completion within TAT

• Coordination with Claims and Mortality Control Team for reconciliation and closure of assigned cases

• Managing and ensuring timely and accurate billing of investigation agencies

2. Proactive analysis of business to identify the suspicious / substandard policies logged, getting the same removed from books basis corroborative filed investigation

3. Coordination with Law Enforcement Agencies filing Police complaints, follow up with IP for conversion of filed complaints into FIRs

4. Managing MIS / trackers / Analytics of cases investigated.

5. Recovery of excess disbursed commission from Agents, recoveries of incorrect / excess Payout released to Customers

6. Identify process gaps/ failures within distribution / Non Distribution; thereby recommend preventive measures to mitigate such issues in future. Close looping of recommended measures with other departments

7. Submit comprehensive Investigation Reports on the erring Agents / Employees found involved in Mortality related issues, in a timely manner to ensure appropriate Consequence Management

8. Representation of Key Investigations and their findings in various internal governance meetings.

Support in extending awareness/communication agenda on Fraud issues across Axis Max Life Insurance

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Bachelors degree in any discipline
• Demonstrated skills in Fraud Prevention & Detection / Mortality Investigations / Vendor Management / Collections
• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Position shall require travelling
