Manager - Financial Investments

As a Corporate Development professional at Times Internet Limited (TIL), you will be responsible for managing and executing high-impact inorganic activities such as Investments, Acquisitions, Fundraising, and Divestments. Your role will involve identifying inorganic growth opportunities, building strategies for Investments/Acquisitions, engaging with founders and experts, and driving deals to closure. You will work collaboratively with the leadership team at TIL to bring innovative products and technologies to help people make the most of every day. Key Responsibilities: - Identify inorganic growth levers for TIL based on the vision - Identify high synergy sectors, customer segments, and product solutions - Build in-depth thesis for selected sectors and validate with founders and experts - Develop a strategy for Investments/Acquisitions for each sector - Stay ahead of market developments by building market intelligence - Create a strong deal flow by partnering with ecosystem players - Engage with potential investment/acquisition targets for end-to-end deal execution - Work closely with investee companies post-investment/acquisition to ensure value creation for TIL Qualifications Required: - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with founders, CXOs, and leadership - Understanding of the technology landscape and network within the Indian startup ecosystem - Basic knowledge of the investment process including term sheets, diligence, and documentation - Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills in an ambiguous environment - Excellent communication skills to influence others internally and externally - High risk-taking appetite and passion for challenges Experience Required: - 1.5-3 years of experience in VC/PE - Bachelor's degree Ideal Candidate Profile: - Education from Tier-1 institutes - Experience of 1.5-3 years in VC/PE - Passion for investing with strong financial modeling and data analysis skills - Exceptional problem-solving abilities and stakeholder management skills Join us at Times Internet and work on the financial investments charter at India's largest media company.
