Manager - ESG

Role & responsibilities

• Work on projects focused on enabling sustainability/ESG strategy and relevant policies spanning across environment, social and governance pillars
• Conduct materiality assessments, gap assessments, framework identification/assessment, competitor benchmarking, and stakeholder engagement for TCL
• Work on projects involving interpretation of ESG issues and its implications to the business
• Prepare necessary MIS related to ESG for enabling management to take key decisions.
• Assist in business development including developing business collaterals on topics of relevance, keeping a track of pertinent events/regulations, etc.
• Ability to quickly learn concepts outside of the area of expertise
• Keeping a track of sustainability trends, regulations and industry specific developments
• Work closely with external ESG consultant for data collection and analysis, identify gaps
• Prepare annual ESG and BRSR reports and work with auditors for ESG audits periodically.
• Arrange and oversee awareness training programs on ESG in coordination with HR
• Interact with all plant locations and offices and coordinate for data collection
• Update with latest regulations in India and globally
• Work on getting various certificated from agencies
• Work on presentation to banks for financing.
