MANAGER - ENVIRONMENT & SAFETY

You will be responsible for efficiently managing the Environment Management System and Sustainability Initiatives in a Paint Manufacturing unit. Your key responsibilities will include: - Managing the Effluent Treatment Plant / Sewage Treatment Plant & water treatment plants like Softener Plant, RO-MEE, DI plant. - Handling Hazardous & Non-Hazardous Waste management and associated facilities. - Ensuring compliance to all identified Legal requirements pertaining to Environment. - Implementing compliance to Environment Management System and ISO14001. - Defining, designing & managing for effective achievement of Environment Management Plans & Sustainability targets. - Executing CSR projects related to Water Conservation & contributing to achieving water neutrality for the organization. - Managing waste movement and Scrap Sale process effectively. - Planning and executing all environment capital expenditures & managing revenue expenditures w.r.t environment efficiently. - Liaising with statutory authorities and managing the environment team effectively. - Developing and assigning plans for Continuous Improvement in Environment Management System. Your key performance indicators will include: - Timely renewal of all applicable consents and submission of all applicable statutory forms/returns and compliance to the same on a day-to-day basis. - Compliance to all identified legal requirements in the EMS manual. - Identifying and establishing processes in EMS to ensure complete adherence to new environment legislation. - Compliance to EMS manual and system improvement via self-assessment. - Achieving targets on Zero Effluent Generation, Zero Solid Waste Generation, Specific Water Consumption, etc. Qualifications required for this role: - 10 Years of relevant experience. - B.Tech/M.Tech in Environmental Engineering. - PGDISEM from NITIE.,
