Manager - Elevator

As a Manager - Elevator, your role involves overseeing the smooth operation and maintenance of elevators. Here are some key responsibilities you will be expected to handle: - Verify daily elevator log reports and ensure accuracy. - Follow up with service providers to ensure 100% adherence to planned preventive maintenance (PPM) activities. - Register all elevator breakdowns/entrapments and analyze root cause analysis (RCA) for entrapments. - Coordinate with service providers for timely delivery of repair & maintenance tasks, improvement works, etc. - Conduct toolbox talks (TBT) for team members, emphasizing safety concerns based on job allocation. - Attend safety committee meetings to contribute to a safe working environment. - Utilize intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and work order systems. - Ensure legal compliance at all times and promptly investigate all incidents to prevent recurrence. - Generate data/reports on equipment, spares, and consumables required for electromechanical services. - Coordinate with stores for managing indents and follow up on spares & consumables requirements. - Handle complaint resolution and prioritize customer satisfaction. - Enforce standard operating procedures, engineering guidelines, and safety protocols. - Perform scheduled SO (Safety Officer) and SIOD (Safety In-charge On Duty) rounds. - Maintain industrial safety standards for machinery and personnel. - Communicate daily operational updates to the building in charge. - Prevent oil spills and leakages in lift pits and address them promptly. - Ensure efficient operations without environmental pollution. - Enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and conduct safety observations as per schedule. - Handle emergency situations such as lift entrapments, fire alarms, earthquakes, and flooding. - Identify and prevent unsafe acts, report them to management, and follow safety guidelines diligently. You will need a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering to qualify for this role.,
