As the Manager 220kV Electrical Systems, your role will involve overseeing the design, execution, and commissioning of high voltage 220kV transformer, substation, and transmission line projects associated with large-scale BESS and solar power plants. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading and managing all activities related to the design, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of 220kV substations, transformers, and transmission lines for solar power projects. - Reviewing and approving detailed engineering designs, specifications, and drawings of 220kV electrical systems, ensuring compliance with national and international electrical standards and grid code requirements. - Coordinating with utilities, regulatory bodies, and clients for necessary approvals, inspections, and interface management. - Driving project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and budget control for 220kV electrical scope. - Monitoring construction progress, quality assurance, and safety compliance at project sites. - Leading troubleshooting, testing, commissioning, and energization activities of 220kV systems. - Mentoring and developing engineering and site teams to build technical capability and maintain high-performance standards. - Collaborating closely with civil, mechanical, procurement, and commercial teams to ensure seamless project delivery. - Preparing and presenting technical reports, project status updates, and risk mitigation plans to senior management and clients. - Staying updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes affecting high voltage electrical systems in solar EPC projects. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering. - Minimum 5 years of experience in high voltage (220kV and above) electrical system design and project management, preferably in solar EPC, power transmission, or utility sectors. - Strong technical expertise in 220kV substations, switchgear, protection & control systems, transformers, and power system studies. - Proven experience managing large-scale EPC projects with multiple stakeholders. - Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within tight deadlines.,
