As a Power Substation System (PSS) Arrangement expert, your role involves overseeing the components required to evacuate solar power at 220kV. This includes managing the Step-Up Substation, 220kV Switchyard, Transmission Line, Protection System, SCADA System, and Metering System. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing the Step-Up Substation where solar power is transformed from 33kV or 66kV to 220kV using a step-up transformer. - Ensuring efficient power evacuation through the 220kV Switchyard and transmission lines. - Overseeing the installation and maintenance of the Protection System comprising relays, circuit breakers, and control panels. - Monitoring and controlling the PSS using the SCADA System for remote operations. - Implementing the Metering System for accurate energy accounting and billing. When it comes to the Single Line Diagram (SLD) Overview for a 220kV PSS, you will be responsible for understanding and managing the elements included in the SLD, such as Solar PV Inverters, Step-Up Transformers, Busbars, Circuit Breakers, Disconnectors, Transformers, and Transmission Lines. In terms of Required Equipment and Technical Specifications, you will need to ensure compliance with the following standards: - Power Transformers with ratings ranging from 100 MVA to 250 MVA and voltage levels of 220kV / 33kV, adhering to cooling types ONAN, ONAF, OFAF. - Circuit Breakers of type SF6 or Vacuum with ratings of 220kV, 2500A, 40kA. - Current Transformers (CT) and Potential Transformers (PT) with specific ratios and accuracy classes for metering and protection purposes. - Power Cables using XLPE insulation rated up to 220kV. - Protection and Control Panels equipped with relays for Distance, Overcurrent, Differential, and Earth Fault protection. - SCADA System functionalities for real-time monitoring, fault detection, and data analysis. - Energy Metering System requirements in line with technical specifications for power evacuation. Additionally, you will need to adhere to CEA Guidelines and National/International Standards, obtain necessary approvals from Approval Authorities, and oversee the Pre-Construction, Construction Phase, and Post-Construction Approvals as part of your responsibilities.,
