You will be joining SEPL Cables (Suyog Electricals Limited) as a technical design engineer (technical executive) where your main responsibility will be to support the design, development, and documentation of electrical cables. The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong foundation in cable construction, technical drawings, and standards compliance. Your tasks will include preparing technical designs, construction sheets, product datasheets, GTPs, QAPs, and other engineering documents based on client or tender requirements. Your key responsibilities will involve preparing technical designs and construction sheets for power, control, instrumentation, and specialty cables. You will also be responsible for drafting and maintaining product datasheets, GTPs, QAPs, and other engineering documents. Additionally, you will assist the sales and tendering teams by providing technical inputs, compliance statements, and product selections. It will be crucial to ensure that all technical documentation aligns with relevant IS, IEC, BS, and other international standards. Furthermore, you will support the QA and production departments with design-related clarifications and BOM inputs. Handling customer or consultant queries related to technical specifications and standards compliance will also be part of your responsibilities. You will be required to maintain a central repository of design templates, approvals, and version-controlled documents. Additionally, you may need to assist in the preparation of custom drawings, wiring diagrams, and layout sketches as needed. Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Maintenance Engineer to oversee the maintenance and reliability of electrical systems, machinery, and infrastructure at our Optic Fiber Manufacturing Plant . The ideal candidate will have experience in high-speed manufacturing environments, PLCs, automated systems, and cleanroom protocols. This role ensures maximum equipment uptime, supports continuous improvement, and ensures compliance with safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective electrical maintenance on optic fiber production machinery and supporting systems. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in production equipment, including fiber drawing towers, coating systems, curing ovens, spooling machines, and laser measurement equipment. Maintain and update electrical schematics, documentation, and technical reports. Monitor and optimize electrical systems for reliability, energy efficiency, and safety. Collaborate with mechanical maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime and improve machine performance. Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA). Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical equipment and upgrades. Manage spare parts inventory for electrical components (motors, drives, sensors, relays, PLC modules, etc.). Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, VFDs, and servo systems. Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action implementation for recurring issues. Train and guide technicians in electrical maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
