Supervise routing, laying, dressing, tagging, and termination of HT/LT power, control, and instrumentation cables . Verify and ensure correct cable specifications, segregation, and mechanical protection as per design standards. Oversee installation and commissioning of motors, drives, panels, switchgear, earthing systems, and lighting . The ideal candidate will have experience in high-speed manufacturing environments, PLCs, automated systems, and cleanroom protocols. This role ensures maximum equipment uptime, supports continuous improvement, and ensures compliance with safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective electrical maintenance on optic fiber production machinery and supporting systems. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in production equipment, including fiber drawing towers, coating systems, curing ovens, spooling machines, and laser measurement equipment. Maintain and update electrical schematics, documentation, and technical reports. Monitor and optimize electrical systems for reliability, energy efficiency, and safety. Collaborate with mechanical maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime and improve machine performance. Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA). Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical equipment and upgrades. Manage spare parts inventory for electrical components (motors, drives, sensors, relays, PLC modules, etc.). Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, VFDs, and servo systems. Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action implementation for recurring issues. Train and guide technicians in electrical maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
