Job Description

Role Overview: We are looking for a highly driven and experienced professional to manage and scale our supply chain and operations function, with a strong focus on warehouse management, logistics optimization, and setting up new processing centers. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in managing day-to-day operations as well as building of new infrastructure and processes from the ground up. Key Responsibilities: Plan and execute the setup of new processing centers/warehouses across India, including site selection, vendor management, layout planning, and go-live operations. Lead team for warehouse operations including inbound/outbound logistics, inventory accuracy, safety, and vendor coordination. Travel extensively to monitor project progress, resolve operational issues, and ensure SOP compliance at regional sites. Optimize supply chain processes and introduce automation/technology tools (e.g., WMS, ERP) to improve efficiency and visibility. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (procurement, finance, logistics) to ensure seamless operations and cost control. Monitor key KPIs such as order accuracy, dispatch timelines, material turnaround time, and cost-per-tonn/movement. Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and environmental standards across all operational locations. Train and build local warehouse teams and implement best practices in material handling and inventory management. Key Skills & Competencies: Preferred knowledge of logistics, warehousing, and transport operations Hands-on experience on process mapping Ability to manage multi-location operations Excellent people management, vendor negotiation, and problem-solving skills Proficient in Excel, dashboards, and process documentation Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Qualifications & Experience: MBA from a Tier-1 institute (IITs, IIMs, ISB, etc.) preferred. 2-4 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain roles, preferably with a B2B or industrial background. Comfortable with extensive travel across locations, sometimes on short notice. Ability to manage multiple sites/projects simultaneously with high accountability.
