As the Health & Safety Manager at L'Oral, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of the employees at the Pune Plant. Your responsibilities will include: - Directing EH&S activities to ensure safety and financial objectives are met - Developing short and long-term EH&S objectives and recommending goals - Ensuring corrective actions are taken for health and safety hazards - Collaborating with management to implement EH&S programs and ensure compliance with regulations - Representing the site as a primary contact person with various stakeholders - Promoting workplace safety and managing EH&S programs - Completing all regulatory reporting requirements and ensuring compliance with laws and policies - Compiling and analyzing safety statistical data and conducting root cause analysis for accidents - Conducting safety walks, training sessions, and safety audits - Focusing on achieving the highest levels of HSE performance through various initiatives - Leading site safety campaigns and safety improvement opportunities - Proficient in conducting audits and inspections of the workplace - Coordinating emergency management drills and exercises Key Competencies required for this role include: - Ability to make informed decisions and identify key issues - Organizational and motivational skills - Proactive investigation of new perspectives and behaviours - Strong conflict management skills - Collaborative approach to accomplish business objectives - Tech-savvy to optimize performance - Clear and effective communication skills - Understanding the vital role of EHS in Sustainability - Leadership skills on the shop floor - Understanding of chemical safety, ATEX, Industrial / Occupational hygiene, fire safety, and other safety requirements Key Relationships for this role include: - Reports to: Plant EHS & Facilities Head - Internal Stakeholders: Pune and Baddi Plant team, R&I, supply chain, Zone EHS team, DGO EHS teams - External Stakeholders: Suppliers, Vendors, Govt Agencies, Contractors, External agencies and consultants Qualifications required for this role include: - Post-Graduation in Industrial Health & Safety with Advanced Diploma in Industrial Health & Safety Would you like to be a part of this challenging and rewarding role at L'Oral, where your contribution will make a significant impact on the safety and well-being of the employees at the Pune Plant As the Health & Safety Manager at L'Oral, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of the employees at the Pune Plant.
