Job Description

Mastercard is seeking a highly skilled Analytics Manager to join our dynamic Data & Analytics team as part of the Global Digital Marketing team. This role will focus on implementing and managing Adobe Analytics, interpreting data, and working cross-functionally to enhance customer experiences and drive business growth. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, and tag management systems, along with strong leadership and communication skills. Additionally, familiarity with the cookie consent platform is highly desirable. The candidate should also possess a strong foundation in Web architecture, HTML, JavaScript, JSON, and jQuery.

Key Responsibilities

Adobe Analytics Implementation & Management:

  • Oversee the end-to-end implementation of Adobe Analytics, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Manage Adobe Launch (Tag Manager) to deploy and update tracking solutions efficiently.
  • Define and maintain tracking specifications, tagging strategies, and data layer implementations.
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure proper integration of Adobe Analytics across digital properties.

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Analyse website, mobile app, and digital campaign performance using Adobe Analytics.
  • Develop and automate dashboards, reports, and deep-dive analyses to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Conduct customer journey analysis, funnel analysis, and attribution modelling to optimize user experiences.
  • Provide actionable insights to improve conversion rates, engagement, and digital ROI.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with marketing, product, UX, and BI teams to align analytics with business goals.
  • Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations for executives and stakeholders.
  • Educate and mentor team members on best practices in Adobe Analytics and digital measurement.

Cookie Compliance & Best Practices

  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy regulations related to analytics and other tags
  • Implement data governance policies to maintain high data quality and consistency.
  • Designing and implementing the framework for data privacy and security compliance requirements aligned to existing and new regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, PDP
  • Performing internal and external assessment to identify data privacy risks and recommend a remediation plan
  • Liaise with local and global privacy teams to create/modify cookie consent banners
  • Work with website owners to get their site's cookie approved through a standard approval process
  • Create and maintain a thorough cookie governance process, and set up automated reports to highlight non-compliance of websites
  • Create and maintain records of approved/unapproved cookies and accordingly guide website owners
  • Work closely with Privacy, Site/Product owners, internal/external development team, and support them in implementing cookie consent scripts

All About You

  • 7+ years of experience in Adobe Analytics or similar web analytics platforms
  • Expertise in Adobe Launch and other tag management systems (Launch preferred).
  • Knowledge of fundamentals of web building blocks like HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery etc.
  • Experience with Adobe Target, Customer Journey Analytics, and other Adobe Experience Cloud products is a plus.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis tools, along with experience integrating Adobe Analytics with BI tools, is a plus.
  • Core knowledge of cookies, functionality, and their types
  • Expertise in managing cookie consent platforms like OneTrust, Evidon (OneTrust preferred).
  • Experience working on web audit tools like ObservePoint, Hotjar, etc
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Effective communication and storytelling abilities to present insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
