Manager - Demand Planning

Role Overview: As a Demand and Inventory Planner, you will be responsible for forecasting demand, planning inventory, managing divisional PL controlling, and providing cross-functional support on various projects. Your role will involve analyzing demand, developing consensus-based demand forecasts, coordinating with EPO teams, managing PL from a FP&A perspective, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for effective communication and project management. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze demand and develop consensus-based demand forecast at the lowest SKU level on a monthly basis using trending/statistical techniques, inputs from sales and marketing teams, and alignment with long-term financial plans. - Work closely with sales and marketing teams to correct inconsistencies in the forecast to prevent negative impacts on customer replenishment or inventory. - Communicate the forecast to EPO teams and internal stakeholders. - Drive the affiliate monthly S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) meeting. - Co-ordinate with EPO teams to plan inventory as per the demand forecast and in line with inventory holding norms. - Conduct periodic inventory checks to identify and balance excess inventory, address potential obsolescence, and collaborate with finance and sales for liquidation. - Manage the PL from a FP&A perspective across all lines for Plan, RLBEs, and Actual, focusing on forecast accuracy. - Engage with functional teams on SG&A spends targets based on appropriate MIS (Management Information Systems) and landing expectation. - Work closely and effectively with EPO teams, Commercial, Marketing, and Finance teams on inventory-related issues and drive initiatives to positively influence operating working capital. - Engage in miscellaneous projects such as Global alignment projects and System developments. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field. - Proven experience in demand planning, inventory management, and financial analysis. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications. - Ability to drive initiatives and drive positive outcomes in a dynamic work environment.,
