Role Overview: You will be working as an Associate Director in the Due Diligence department at BDO India. Your main responsibilities will include developing an understanding of the target business, leading the team during project execution, interpreting and analyzing information, producing quality deliverables, identifying key issues related to deals, creating and managing client relationships, ensuring compliance with risk management procedures, contributing to knowledge sharing efforts, building and managing a team effectively, and working on business development initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Develop an understanding of the target business including its competitive positioning, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges - Lead client services as the Engagement Manager - Review reports, provide value-add inputs, and lead the team during project execution - Interpret, evaluate, and analyze information memoranda, business plans, and publicly available information on the target business - Produce quality deliverables within agreed timescales, including Excel and PowerPoint documents; review and analyze historical trading, cash flow, balance sheets, projections, and underlying assumptions - Identify key issues related to deals, assess their impact on valuation, and advise on addressing the issues - Build and manage independent relationships with clients, ensure compliance with risk management procedures, and proactively resolve risk issues - Contribute to knowledge sharing efforts, review and improve processes, and mentor and coach team members - Work on business development, proposals, and cost estimates Qualification Required: - At least 7-9 years of relevant experience in Due Diligence - CA qualification Additional details: BDO India conducts a comprehensive review procedure that involves verifying records, conducting meetings with key persons, and analyzing data to highlight potential risks, liabilities, and provide input for structuring transactions.
