Manager - Deal Advisory Services

You will be joining the Due Diligence department at BDO India as an Associate Director based in Gurgaon. Your role will involve carrying out a thorough review procedure that includes verifying records, conducting meetings with key persons, and analyzing data and information. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing an understanding of the target business including its competitive positioning, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges - Leading the execution of client services as an Engagement Manager - Leading the team during project execution, reviewing reports, and providing value-added inputs - Interpreting, evaluating, and analyzing information memoranda, business plans, and publicly available information on the target business - Producing quality deliverables within agreed timescales, including Excel and PowerPoint documents, and briefing senior management accordingly - Reviewing and analyzing historical trading, cash flow, and balance sheets - Reviewing and analyzing projections, and underlying assumptions - Evaluating operating trends, quality of earnings, maintainability of EBITDA, working capital, cash flows, net debt, etc. - Identifying key issues related to the deal, assessing their impact on valuation, and advising on ways to address them - Building and managing strong independent relationships with clients - Ensuring compliance with risk management procedures and activities - Proactively resolving risk issues with Partner support - Contributing to knowledge sharing efforts and continually improving processes - Building and managing an effective team and being a strong role model, mentor, and coach - Working on business development, proposals, and cost estimates You should have at least 7-9 years of relevant experience in Due Diligence and hold a CA qualification.
