  • Experience:

    10-14 years

    of experience in automotive plastic trims design & development

Manager DE (TRIMS) Plastic

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop interior and exterior plastic trim components
  • Review drawings and ensure manufacturability and quality compliance
  • Coordinate with Purchase, STA, Quality, and Suppliers for part development
  • Support tooling development, APQP, and PPAP activities
  • Track projects as per

    QCD and MRD

    milestones
  • Drive cost optimization and value engineering initiatives
  • Resolve technical, quality, and fitment issues during development
  • Support supplier selection and technical evaluations

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of plastic injection molding and trim parts
  • Experience in automotive product development processes (APQP, PPAP)
  • GD&T and drawing interpretation
  • CAD tools: CATIA / NX / Creo
  • SAP (MM basic knowledge)
  • Cost reduction and supplier coordination skills
