Manager Data Management

As the leader of the India-based team for driving foundational data capabilities at Orange Business, your role is crucial in operationalizing the data strategy and enabling data across business domains. You will be responsible for: - Ensuring operational execution of core data quality management activities such as metadata management, data lineage, observability, monitoring, and cataloging. - Leading and developing a team of data quality experts, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance management. - Partnering with data owners, data stewards, and business units to implement data governance policies, quality rules, and standards. - Administering and optimizing enterprise data management tools like Collibra, Informatica, and AccelData. - Ensuring alignment with the Orange Business Data Governance framework and providing support to Data Councils, Domain Owners, and Data Protection teams. - Developing KPIs and dashboards to measure progress on data management maturity and quality improvement. - Promoting continuous improvement, automation, and best practices in data management processes. - Accompanying team skill development and ensuring knowledge sharing. In terms of knowledge and abilities, you should: - Understand the complexities of the Orange Business Data management landscape. - Have a strong understanding of data governance principles and regulatory frameworks like GDPR. - Work in an agile manner with a can-do approach. - Possess expertise in metadata management, data cataloging, data quality, and master data processes. - Have hands-on experience with enterprise data governance or data management platforms. - Demonstrate excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. For education, qualifications, and certifications, you should have: - A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field. - Professional certifications such as SCRUM, ITIL, PMP, or SAFe will be advantageous. With at least 8 years of experience in data management, including 3 years in team leadership or managerial roles, and experience in a global matrix environment, your knowledge of the telecom or B2B services sector would be desirable.,
