Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Manage and oversee custody operations, corporate actions, tax services, and fixed income processes.

Possess in-depth knowledge of various types of corporate actions in the market, such as bonus, dividend, right issue, etc., and manage both mandatory and voluntary corporate actions.
Demonstrate expertise in withholding tax and re-claims from vendors.
Lead process transitions, critical activities migration, and risk assessment of onboarding tasks.
Manage a team of 50 to 75 members, fostering an engaged, skilled, and motivated workforce.
Ensure effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Continuously identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Experience in implementing and managing automation initiatives to streamline operations.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to drive informed decision-making.

Preferred candidate profile

Knowledge of Bloomberg, DTCC, Euroclear, and other relevant systems
Understanding of SWIFT and its message types (MT564, MT568, MT566, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
