Role Overview: As an Engineering Manager at United Airlines Business Services Pvt. Ltd, you will perform technical duties of a high-level engineer and effectively manage a group of engineers to meet team deliverables. You will be responsible for maintaining aircraft systems, collaborating with internal and external resources to boost fleet reliability, investigating repair processes, and developing repair schemes. Additionally, you will supervise a team of engineers, review engineering documents, and manage priorities for a technical discipline-based team. Key Responsibilities: - Manage engineering duties as a subject matter expert and perform technical reviews of documentation - Investigate, develop, and implement repair processes and procedures for assigned components and aircraft systems - Collaborate with internal and external resources to develop effective repair schemes for boosting fleet reliability within cost parameters - Analyze complex technical issues, multitask numerous projects and administrative duties - Develop direct report team members by fostering an inclusive environment, encouraging innovative solutions, and providing growth opportunities - Organize and manage priorities for a technical discipline-based team of component engineers - Complete technical reviews of engineering documents generated by team members and perform administrative duties as necessary Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent work experience in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Electrical Engineering - Knowledge of FARS (especially 145, 25, and 121) and past working knowledge of Airbus and Boeing aircraft - Minimum of 7 years at an engineer level or similar role in the industry - Ability to analyze complex technical issues, multitask numerous projects, and have strong written and spoken English skills - Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship - Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification - Reliable and punctual attendance is an essential function of the position Additional Company Details: This position is offered on local terms and conditions at United Airlines Business Services Pvt.
