As an airline, safety is the most important principle, and United Airlines Corporate Safety team ensures safety is a top priority in all operations. Your role will involve conducting flight safety investigations, educating pilots on safety threats, implementing medical programs, and preventing employee injuries to maintain a safe and successful airline for customers and employees. Key Responsibilities: - Support the development and implementation of a cohesive safety data strategy - Assist the Director of Safety Management Systems in enhancing United's Corporate Safety Business Intelligence Toolsets and visualizations - Serve as a subject matter expert in corporate safety data and business intelligence design - Build and deploy data products, including dashboards, for United leadership to enable data-driven assessment for corporate safety - Identify opportunities for prescriptive and predictive use cases and develop key safety metrics through data analysis - Collaborate with Digital Technology and Operational teams to analyze, predict, and reduce safety risks - Design and develop statistical models to support United's Safety Management System (SMS) with predictive data analytics - Create and maintain data visualizations, model and code data, and provide reporting and automation support Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: - Associate degree or 2 years of relevant work experience - Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., computer science, data science, information systems) - At least 2 years of experience in business intelligence, visualization, and/or data analytics - Proficiency in SQL and experience with data management tools - Ability to design data/technology solutions to meet business needs - Must be legally authorized to work in India without sponsorship and fluent in English - Successful completion of the interview process required Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree - Certifications in Palantir or Tiboc Please note that this position is offered on local terms and conditions at United Airlines Business Services Pvt.
