Job Description

Role: Manager

Location: Thirumazhisai, Chennai, India

Reports To: Head Finance

Job Summary: Responsible for supporting capital project execution, play a critical part in the successful setup and consolidation of manufacturing operations, including the transition to a new greenfield site.

Key Responsibilities:

Capital Project Support

Assist in planning and monitoring construction-related expenses for new and expanded facilities.
Support project teams in ensuring cost control and adherence to budget.

Business Case & Capex Management

Develop business cases and capital expenditure (Capex) budgets for expansion projects.
Prepare and manage Capital Appropriation Requests (CARs) in coordination with global finance teams.

Funding Coordination

Collaborate with Group Treasury and Tax teams to structure funding for expansion (e.g., borrowings, equity infusion).
Support financial modeling and documentation for funding proposals.

Candidate Background:

Bachelors degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field; MBA, Finance / CA preferred.
8+ years of experience in regulatory affairs, capital projects, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
Proven experience in capital budgeting.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
