Manager, Business Continuity Planning (BCP)

Role Summary:-

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to manage Business Continuity Planning (BCP) function. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 8 years of experience in business continuity and crisis management and will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the organizations BCP framework.

Key Responsibilities: -

• Maintain the Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and risk assessments across departments.
• Design and implement recovery strategies for critical business functions.
• Coordinate and conduct BCP drills and testing exercises for Branches and Units.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders for BCP implementation.
• Maintain documentation and reporting for audits and reviews.
• Work closely with Technology team to ensure their disaster recovery plans for critical applications are consistent with BC plans developed.
• Coordinate with IT teams on Disaster Recovery (DR) drill reports.
• Prepare presentations and reports for BCM Committee meetings.
• Act as information manager and facilitator during a crisis.
• Manage regulatory reporting and internal reporting.
• Track and follow up on actionable items from internal/external audits and BCM Committee meetings.

Required Qualifications: -

• Bachelors degree in any stream.
• 6 to 8 years of experience in Business Continuity Planning and Crisis Management.
• Strong understanding of BIA, risk assessment, and recovery planning.
• Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and industry standards (e.g., ISO 22301).
• Knowledge of IT Disaster Recovery planning and execution.

Preferred Skills: -

• Certification in BCP/DR (e.g., ISO 22301 Lead Implementer).
• Excellent communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
