Job Description

As a Manager - Application and Process Support, you will be responsible for providing technical support to applications and processes, managing the application support team, collaborating with development teams, and ensuring the efficient resolution of application-related problems. Your role will also involve developing and maintaining documentation, analyzing and resolving application issues, monitoring application performance, and ensuring adherence to processes, standards, and compliances. Additionally, you will participate in project planning and implementation, provide input on software and hardware purchasing decisions, and lead a team of support professionals. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical support to applications and processes. - Manage the application support team. - Collaborate with development teams. - Develop and maintain documentation. - Analyze and resolve application issues. - Monitor application performance. - Ensure the efficient resolution of application-related problems. - Ensure adherence to processes, standards, and compliances. - Participate in project planning and implementation. - Provide input on software and hardware purchasing decisions. Qualifications Required: - Minimum qualification of B.Tech/BE in Computer Science/Information Science or MCA/MBA in IT (Science and technology stream only). In addition to the technical responsibilities, you will need to possess the following skills: - Technical expertise in software applications, operating systems, and networking concepts. - Experience in software development and database concepts. - Knowledge of cloud and local hosting of applications and databases. - Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. - Excellent communication skills to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Team leadership skills to motivate and manage a team of support professionals. - Project management skills to define and execute application projects. - Organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. - Knowledge of global/standard frameworks and best practices. Soft/General Skills: - Good analytical skills. - Ability for faster tech learning. - Effective time management. - Adherence to processes. - Strong documentation skills. - Good communication skills (written and verbal). - Multi-tasking abilities. - Team player mindset. Experience: - 8 to 12 years of experience in the manufacturing field is preferred.,
