Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL.
Ensure timely closure of books of accounts and accuracy in financial records.
Support daily inventory analysis/reporting using data from multiple sources (Stores, warehouse, Production, Inventory System, etc.) to anticipate and solve any inventory control issues
Maintain and update stock aging reports, stock movement reports, etc.
Undertake Inventory Valuation as per Accounting Standard
Ensuring proper Internal Controls.
Working in close co-ordination with Finance, Purchase, Plant Operations, Stores & Dispatch team.
Conducting regular physical verifications
Performing audits and resolving discrepancies
Preparing & presenting daily/monthly various MIS Reports for review of the management

Preferred candidate profile

Experience in Food Processing or FMCG Industry
Advance knowledge of general accounting (journal entries, account reconciliations), understanding of Accounting Standards.
Knowledge and hands on experience of Stock accounting valuation methods (weighted Average/FIFO)
10-15 Years of Relevant experience in the same field with Minimum 5 years of Managerial Experience
Graduate in any Discipline with Post graduate, M. Com/MBA /CA-Inter/ICWA-Inter

Goods Communication Skills, Knowledge of ERP and Well Versed in MS Office applications
