Manager - Accounts

Roles & Responsibility :

Accounts & Finance

• Maintain complete books of accounts for the project site.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, and cash flow.
• Control site expenditures and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and MIS reports.
• Coordinate with Head Office for consolidation and reporting.
  

Billing & Revenue

• Prepare and verify RA bills, IPCs, and client invoices.
• Track client payments and manage receivables.
• Reconcile client accounts and contract values.
  

Costing & Controls

• Monitor project costs including materials, subcontractors, labor, and overheads.
• Analyze cost variances and highlight deviations to management.
• Maintain WIP (Work in Progress) and revenue recognition.
  

Taxation & Compliance

• Handle GST compliance including returns, reconciliation, and assessments.
• Manage TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory deductions.
• Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and other applicable laws.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
  

Vendor & Subcontractor Management

• Verify subcontractor bills and vendor invoices.
• Ensure timely payments after proper approvals.
• Maintain vendor ledgers and reconciliations.
  

Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with project managers, planning, procurement, and store teams.
• Support management with financial insights for decision-making.
• Maintain proper documentation and records at the site.

Preferred candidate profile

Lead the site accounts function including project budgeting, financial controls, vendor payments, statutory compliance, and MIS reporting. Ensure integrity of site-level financial operations and coordinate closely with corporate finance for alignment and compliance.
