Job Description: As a Manager, Accounting (Process Excellence) at Mastercard, you will play a crucial role in supporting process excellence within the accounting team. Your primary responsibilities will include leading finance process transformation initiatives, managing projects, automating finance processes, and handling stakeholder management. Your efforts will contribute towards enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving the overall effectiveness of accounting processes. You will continuously assess current finance processes to identify areas for improvement and transformation. By developing and implementing strategies, you will aim to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the overall effectiveness of accounting processes. Leading change management initiatives, you will ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new processes within the team. In project management, you will be responsible for developing detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Monitoring project progress, identifying potential issues, and implementing corrective actions as needed will be part of your role. Providing regular updates to stakeholders on project status, milestones, and outcomes will also be crucial. Your role will involve evaluating automation tools and technologies to streamline accounting processes. You will oversee the implementation of automation solutions, ensuring seamless integration into existing workflows. Providing training and support to team members on new automation tools and processes will also be essential. Engaging with stakeholders, both internal and external, will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, collaborating closely to ensure requirements are met, and addressing any concerns or issues that arise will be critical. Organizing and leading meetings with stakeholders to discuss project progress, gather feedback, and make decisions will also be part of your role. As a leader, you will provide motivation to the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Identifying and nurturing talent within the team, providing opportunities for professional growth and development, and setting clear performance expectations will be essential. Conducting regular performance reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members will also be part of your responsibilities. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. A professional certification such as CA, CPA, or CMA is preferred. Additionally, you should have at least 5 years of experience in finance process transformation, project management, or a similar role.,
