About The Role

The successful candidate will play a key role within the GoldenSource Managed Service team for its customer(s). The role is a techno-functional role with service responsibility for smooth daily operational running of the GoldenSource platform both on the cloud and on-prem. The GoldenSource application is business critical and centrally manages data for trading, settlement, risk, client and regulatory reporting systems.

Accountability And Primary Responsibility/duties

• Activities would range across the lifecycle from discovery to post-implementation support
• Understanding client's requirement, replicate the problem and providing the solution
• Understanding and developing new requirements for customers
• Update the existing functionality and implementation
• Develop changes that cater to enhancing the product and/or fixing production issues
• Contribute in all phases of the development cycle (development/Deployment/Testing/ Release management)
• Documentation of deliverables
• Applies all relevant standards and procedures to own work.
  

Experience Required

You will have min 3 years of experience on a software vendor package in a financial services organization either from within a software vendor, a system integrator or the IT group of a financial services firm. Typically this could include solutions such as reference data management, data quality, market data management, trading platforms, order / portfolio management systems, risk management, fund accounting, compliance or client onboarding.

Required Skills

• Good understand of database concepts
• Ability to code using SQL/PLSQL
• Atleast one scripting language: Shell / python /Java
• Good communication skills (verbal and written) ability to communicate/work with people at all levels/backgrounds.
• Understanding of J2EE concepts and experience of any application server
  

Advantageous To Have

• Capital market know how and any certification of NCFM/NISM or trade life cycle.
