Inspect and test electrical systems to identify problems. Perform routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns or hazards. Replace or repair faulty wiring, equipment, or fixtures. Diagnose electrical malfunctions using testing devices. Repair short circuits, overloads, or faulty components. Follow company and legal safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, IEC standards). Ensure systems are grounded and meet electrical codes. Maintain logs of repairs, installations, and inspections. Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documents. Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians. Provide input during design and planning of new installations.
