Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure optimal operational efficiency and safety. This role involves both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks across electrical, mechanical, and building systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery, systems, and equipment.
• Diagnose issues with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC systems and perform repairs as needed.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly.
• Maintain maintenance logs and report any recurring issues or needed upgrades.
• Replace or repair defective parts using hand tools and power tools.
• Assist with the installation of new equipment or systems.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to minimize downtime and production delays.
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and notify supervisor of shortages.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or trade certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills (for logging maintenance and accessing documentation).
• Physical stamina and dexterity; ability to lift and carry heavy items and work in tight spaces.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations (e.g., OSHA).

Working Conditions:

• Work may involve exposure to noise, dust, heat, or hazardous materials.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
