Maintenance Supervisor

As a Maintenance Manager, your role will involve overseeing various aspects of safety, maintenance, emergency response, budgeting, communication, grounds maintenance, renovations, and team management to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel facilities. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting regular inspections and addressing hazards to ensure compliance with safety regulations - Training hotel staff on safety procedures - Performing preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment to identify and address potential issues before they escalate - Arranging routine maintenance in hotel rooms, lobbies, and facilities - Responding promptly to emergency issues such as power outages - Managing maintenance budgets and expenses effectively to reduce operating costs - Interacting with guests and staff to address and resolve guest complaints - Caring for indoor gardens and plants, as well as maintaining the outdoor environment - Planning and overseeing renovations and construction projects - Supervising maintenance technicians and janitors, and maintaining relationships with contractors and service providers Qualifications required for this role include: - Prior experience in maintenance management or a related field - Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to manage budgets and expenses effectively - Strong leadership and team management abilities If you are looking for a challenging role where you can utilize your maintenance management skills in a dynamic hospitality environment, this position might be the right fit for you.
