JOB DESCRIPTION
* Responsible for handling day-to-day complaints regarding maintenance.
* To follow-up planning schedule of preventive maintenance and co-ordinate building mechanical, sanitary, and other maintenance work.
* To maintain the interior and exterior of building, furniture, fixtures, etc.
* To repair and maintain all elevators, air-conditioning equipment, light fittings, refrigeration units, plumbing work and associated equipment.
* To carry out work as directed
* To repair, install and maintain electrical equipment (rotary & static) electrical fitting and switchboards.
* To submit reports to the Engineering In charge & maintain DG logs and maintained the diesel stock and its operation procedure
* To keep a record and analysis of the electrical power supply.
* To prepare & maintain the electrical materials store stock.
* To check and monitor operator's duties.
* To every shift going to floor rounds.
* To Check Critical equipment & Critical area in every shift.
* Carryout any other job as and when assigned by the reporting authority.
* To participate and contribute to department and Organization quality initiatives.
* To be aware of departments performance and objective.
* To adhere to the safety norms of the Hospital, follow both patient and Staff Safety rules.
* Leadership and Guidance: Supervisors lead and guide their team, providing direction and support to ensure goals are met. They help in setting clear expectations and aligning team efforts with organizational objectives.
* Performance Management: They monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing feedback and conducting performance reviews.
They also address any performance issues and recognize achievements.
* Training and Development: Supervisors are responsible for identifying training needs and facilitating professional development opportunities for their team members. This includes onboarding new employees and ensuring they have the skills needed for their roles.
* Resource Management: They manage resources, including time, equipment, and personnel, to ensure efficient operations. This involves scheduling shifts, allocating tasks, and managing budgets.
* Problem Solving: Supervisors address and resolve workplace issues, from interpersonal conflicts to operational challenges. They need to be adept at problem-solving and decision-making.
* Communication: Effective communication is crucial. Supervisors must convey information clearly, listen to team members, and facilitate communication between upper management and staff.
* Compliance and Safety: They ensure that workplace practices adhere to legal and organizational standards, including safety regulations, company policies, and ethical guidelines.
* Motivation and Morale: Supervisors play a key role in maintaining team morale and motivation. They should foster a positive work environment and address any concerns that may affect employee engagement.
