Maintenance Supervisor

A Maintenance Supervisor oversees the maintenance team, ensuring facilities and equipment are in good condition. Key responsibilities include :

- *Primary Responsibilities:*

- *Team Management*: Supervise maintenance technicians, assign tasks, and ensure work is completed efficiently and safely.

- *Maintenance Operations*: Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to minimize downtime.

- *Safety Compliance*: Ensure adherence to safety regulations, conduct safety inspections, and train staff on safety measures.

- *Administrative Tasks:*

- *Scheduling*: Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work based on priority and skill level.

- *Inventory Management*: Manage spare parts inventory, vendor contracts, and supplier relationships.

- *Record Keeping*: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and repair costs.

- *Technical Skills:*

- *Mechanical Aptitude*: Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues, and understand maintenance techniques and principles.

- *Technical Knowledge*: Familiarity with building systems, equipment, and machinery.

- *Soft Skills:*

- *Leadership*: Motivate and coach team members to achieve performance goals.

- *Communication*: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with staff, vendors, and management.

- *Experience*: Minimum 2-5 years of experience in maintenance supervision or related field.
