Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance

Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for electrical and mechanical equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns on production lines, utilities, HVAC, and other machinery.
Maintain records of maintenance and service activities.

2. Team Supervision

Supervise and coordinate a team of technicians and fitters.
Allocate work, provide technical guidance, and ensure timely task completion.

3. Equipment & Utilities Management

Ensure proper functioning of electrical panels, PLCs, motors, pumps, compressors, conveyors, boilers, chillers, and HVAC systems.
Monitor utilities and ensure optimal energy consumption.
Conduct safety audits and risk assessments.

5. Spare Parts & Inventory

Maintain inventory of critical spares and consumables.
Coordinate with the purchase team for procurement as required.

6. Reporting & Documentation

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly maintenance reports.
Document maintenance logs and root cause analysis for breakdowns.

Key Skills Required

Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
Hands-on experience in breakdown and preventive maintenance
Leadership and team management
Familiarity with safety standards and statutory requirements
Computer proficiency in MS Office and maintenance ERP/software
