Maintenance Person : machinary maintenance

We seeking a highly skilled maintenance assistant manager, who will captain a team of maintenance staff to uphold the upkeep and repairs of the company’s facilities. Being the maintenance head means that the company’s physical assets and facilities are under the jurisdiction of the maintenance manager, in terms of maintenance, development, expansion and sustenance. Being an intuitive professional with innate problem-solving abilities is the ideal skill set that this job requires. And a maintenance manager is the foundation for building on organisational success, from a very grassroots level.

Objectives of this role

• Strive towards the seamless running of the facility and the equipment of the company through efficient facility management work
• Work as a repair manager, and implement periodic investigations and inspections into each and every piece of physical equipment of the company
• Adhere to safety standards and legal regulations while executing maintenance management tasks and programs
• Train, guide and evaluate staff members as a director of maintenance
• Learn about new processes, procedures and equipment that are being used worldwide, and try to adopt relevant processes into the company’s maintenance management work.

Responsibilities

• Lead all maintenance and repair-related activities in the company, keeping in mind the roles of a repair manager
• Document and submit reports to the senior maintenance manager (if any) or the stakeholders, regarding budgets, progress and time schedules
• Supervise the condition of all the equipment in the establishment and the potential upgrades and maintenance it might need as a preventive maintenance plan
• Manage the budgets of the maintenance plans, and ensure that everything is in line with legal and safety regulations
• Recognise areas of improvement in the facilities maintenance jobs in hand and their processes

Required skills and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a similar discipline
• Prior experience working as a maintenance manager, repair manager, or in a related role
• Experience in dealing with budgets, schedules and reporting in terms of maintenance work
• Understanding of legal safety regulations specific to India, within the industry
• Knowledge of equipment and facilities machines

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹11,899.84 - ₹20,694.05 per month
