Maintenance Manager

As a Maintenance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of maintenance activities within the organization. Your responsibilities will include: - Planning and coordinating all maintenance activities, encompassing both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks. - Supervising and leading a team of technicians and maintenance staff to ensure efficient operations. - Developing maintenance procedures and overseeing their proper implementation. - Conducting regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and address any issues promptly. - Monitoring equipment inventory levels and placing orders for necessary supplies and spare parts. - Managing maintenance budgets effectively to optimize costs and resources. - Ensuring strict compliance with health and safety policies and statutory requirements. - Maintaining accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation for reference and audit purposes. - Collaborating with other departments to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to daily operations. - Building and managing relationships with contractors and service providers for additional support when required. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or a related field. - Proven experience as a maintenance manager or in a similar role, typically around 5-8 years. - Strong knowledge of facilities and equipment maintenance best practices. - Proficiency in working with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems). - Excellent leadership and organizational skills to effectively manage teams and tasks. - Advanced problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address maintenance challenges efficiently. - Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members, other departments, contractors, and service providers effectively.
