Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Foreman to oversee and manage the maintenance team at our Ahmedabad, Bavla manufacturing facility
The ideal candidate will ensure all equipment, machinery, and facility systems are in top working condition, minimizing downtime and optimizing production efficiency

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the maintenance team to ensure efficient repair and upkeep of machinery and facility systems
Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to ensure smooth plant operations Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency Maintain records of maintenance work, inspections, and spare parts inventory Train and mentor maintenance staff, ensuring adherence to best practices Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure minimal downtime and optimal workflow

Qualifications & Skills:

Hard Skills:

Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
Experience with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals Knowledge of preventive maintenance strategies and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) Understanding of workplace safety regulations and compliance standards

Soft Skills:

Strong leadership and team management abilities
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Effective communication and coordination with cross-functional teams Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently

Education & Certifications:

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
ITI or equivalent certification in maintenance-related fields (preferred)

Experience:

Minimum: 5+ years of experience in maintenance roles, including team supervision
Preferred: Experience in the cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, or manufacturing industries
