Maintenance Fitter

Role Overview: As a Maintenance Fitter, your primary responsibility will be to perform preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs, and installations of mechanical equipment and machinery to ensure optimal plant performance and minimal downtime. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct routine maintenance and inspection of machinery and mechanical systems. - Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs in a timely manner. - Install, align, and test new machinery and equipment. - Fabricate and fit mechanical parts using tools such as lathes, grinders, and welders. - Maintain accurate maintenance records and report major faults to supervisors. - Follow all safety procedures and ensure compliance with company standards. - Work collaboratively with electricians, engineers, and production staff to minimize disruptions. - Participate in continuous improvement and reliability programs.
