Job Title: Maintenance Executive (Mechanical)

Location: Sanaswadi, Pune

Reports To: Maintenance Manager / Plant Head

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Executive (Mechanical) will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and reliability of all machines, utilities, and equipment within the plant. The role involves leading preventive and breakdown maintenance activities, ensuring minimum downtime, optimizing equipment performance, and maintaining safety and compliance standards. The position requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and hands-on problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and supervise preventive and predictive maintenance of mechanical equipment and utilities.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot breakdowns in mechanical systems.
• Lead maintenance technicians and allocate daily tasks effectively.
• Maintain and update maintenance logs, machine history, and service records.
• Analyze recurring breakdowns and implement root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with production, electrical, and utility teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and ISO standards during maintenance work.
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with the purchase department for critical spares.
• Support installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment and plant modifications.
• Optimize maintenance costs by improving machine uptime and energy efficiency.
• Train junior staff and ensure adherence to maintenance SOPs.

Qualification & Experience:

• Qualification: B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 7–8 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or process plant environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
