Job Description

Maintenance Engineer

Location: Bengaluru

Department: Technical Services

Reports To: Service Maintenance Manager

Role Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer to support service and maintenance operations for electronic security systems across our client sites in the APAC region. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, system monitoring, and support for access control and surveillance systems to ensure reliability, uptime, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of electronic security systems at client sites.
Monitor system health through alarm logs and analytics, and resolve issues proactively.
Support installation, firmware upgrades, and system enhancements under the guidance of the global technical team.
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, system configurations, and asset inventories.
Assist in handling service requests and track issue resolution timelines.
Coordinate with vendors for spare parts procurement and service support.
Ensure compliance with maintenance schedules, safety standards, and company policies.
Support budgeting and inventory planning with the maintenance manager and finance team.

Required Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelors degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
2 4 years of experience in maintaining electronic security systems such as access control, CCTV, or intrusion detection.
Familiarity with Lenel or similar access control platforms is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good verbal and written communication in English.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Working Conditions:

Exposure to sensitive security systems and data; confidentiality required.
Regular use of laptops and mobile devices; proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic IT tools.
Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites across the APAC region.
