Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
Inspect, test, and diagnose issues in machinery or systems.
Repair or replace faulty parts and equipment in a timely manner.
Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance with minimal production disruption.
Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols.
Monitor equipment performance and suggest improvements.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for logging tasks and tracking equipment history.
Support installation of new equipment and conduct commissioning tests.
Train junior technicians or operators in basic maintenance tasks when necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
Proven experience in maintenance engineering or related technical roles.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Proficiency in using maintenance tools, diagnostic equipment, and software.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Familiarity with safety standards and compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in maintenance or reliability engineering (e.g., CMRP, TPM).
Experience with PLCs, automation systems, or robotics.
Prior experience in a manufacturing, utilities, or plant environment.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
