Maintenance Engineer

Role Overview: As a Maintenance Engineer for a manufacturing company specializing in CNG cylinder manufacturing, your main responsibility will be to ensure the smooth functioning of all machines and equipment through preventive and breakdown maintenance. You will be monitoring machine performance, documenting maintenance activities, ensuring safety compliance, and actively participating in improvement activities. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all machines and equipment, ensuring timely servicing and maintaining PM checklists and records. - Attend equipment breakdowns immediately, diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, and implement quick corrective actions. - Monitor machine performance, vibration, temperature, and abnormalities, suggest improvements, and maintain spares availability. - Maintain maintenance logs, breakdown reports, and daily activity records, prepare MTTR, MTBF reports, and update maintenance history cards. - Follow all safety procedures during maintenance work, ensure compliance with safety standards, and conduct safety checks for equipment. - Coordinate with the production team for machine availability, support external service technicians or contractors, and communicate major issues to the Maintenance Head or Plant Manager. - Participate in Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement activities, and suggest modifications in machines for better productivity. Qualification Required: - Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field.
