Maintenance Engineer

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and reliability of all machinery, equipment, and utility systems. This role involves conducting preventive and corrective maintenance, minimizing downtime, and improving equipment efficiency to support uninterrupted production. Key Responsibilities: Plan and carry out preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for machines and utilities. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic system issues. Perform or oversee corrective maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime. Maintain records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and spare parts usage. Collaborate with production and quality teams to address equipment-related quality issues. Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and reliability. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards and protocols. Manage inventory and procurement of spare parts and maintenance tools. Support installation and commissioning of new machinery or upgrades. Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives.
