Maintenance Engineer

As an Electrician at our organization, you will be responsible for identifying and addressing electrical/electronic issues as they arise. Your duties will include performing maintenance inspections, repairing distribution systems and equipment, and ensuring the proper functioning of various electrical appliances. You will be expected to maintain emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, clocks, intercoms, and other essential life safety equipment throughout the building. Additionally, you will play a key role in installing new circuits, lighting, receptacles, and other electrical components, which may involve tasks such as cable pulling and wiring. Another crucial aspect of your role will involve conducting repairs on appliances and equipment located in critical areas like operation theatres, kitchens, hostels, offices, and classrooms. Furthermore, you will collaborate with the team to draft specifications for repairs and new construction projects. It is essential to document all your activities thoroughly to ensure that accurate information is available for each service call. You will also be required to fulfill any additional duties delegated by the Head of the Department and comply with the hospital's rules and regulations to maintain NABH standards. In addition to your core responsibilities, you may be assigned various tasks by the management as needed. This is a full-time position, and the benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and Provident Fund. The work schedule may involve day shifts, morning shifts, night shifts, and rotational shifts. Ideally, the preferred candidate should have at least 6 years of total work experience.
