Job Description

Location: Bangalore
Experience: 6 - 9 Years

Solid Hands-on experience in Mainframe skills COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, Control-M, and VSAM,
Having knowledge on the below distributed skills is a plus.
Application Development:

Design and develop software applications using programming languages like COBOL, PL/I, Assembler, or others specific to mainframe environments.
Write and maintain code, implement business logic, and create program documentation. System Integration and Maintenance:

Integrate applications within the mainframe environment, including interfacing with databases (DB2, IMS) and other systems.
Perform system maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements as required. Testing and Debugging:

Conduct unit testing, system testing, and debugging to ensure applications meet functional requirements and adhere to quality standards.
Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs in applications. Performance Optimization:

Optimize application performance by analyzing code, tuning queries, and enhancing program efficiency within the mainframe environment.
Documentation and Reporting:

Create technical documentation, including program specifications, system diagrams, and user guides.
Prepare reports on development progress, code changes, and maintenance activities. Collaboration and Support:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, testers, and system administrators, to ensure alignment with project objectives.
Provide technical support, guidance, and mentoring to junior developers or team members.
