Job Description

Experience : 7 to 15 Years

Skillset : Mainfarme CICS

Location: Bangalore & Mumbai

Must Have:

IBM/vendor support familiar with IBM and other vendors web sites:
Open problem cases, ask questions, prepare and send dumps.
SMP/E – in depth knowledge to do install work on CICS and any associated products
Security – in depth knowledge of ACF2 (must be able to install security on CICS and associated products and create ACF2 security rules as they pertain to CICS) •
SMF – moderate skill set required to gather and manipulate SMF data (specifically the CICS 110 records) •
Problem determination skills – ability to diagnose problem and determine root cause and remediation

Good to Have:

Mainframe Tools–SIEM (Q-Radar), z/OS-SA or CA-OPS/MVS Automation •
Mainframe DB2, MQ, CICS, WAS, Control-M •
Mainframe Security ACF2 •
Mainframe Capacity Planning and Performance Tuning

Essential:

Minimum 10+ years of broad and indepth hands-on technical and design/architect level experience in Mainframe z/OS
Experience in a multi-site (multiple Data Center) Mainframe shop of minimum 2,000 MIPS and above.
Support various Mainframe Software (both IBM and OEM/ISV products evaluation, High Availability, Disaster Recovery etc.
Derive realistic Mainframe SLAs and design / propose architecture meeting those SLAs goals Mainframe Licensing, TCO and ROI planning and decision making.
