You should have excellent web-development skills with programming in object-oriented PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript. Your E-commerce skills in Magento should be strong, and you should be proficient in any PHP framework such as Yii, Zend, CodeIgniter, CakePHP, or Symphony. Strong SQL knowledge is a must as you will be required to understand complex database structures and write triggers, stored procedures, and functions. It is important that you are familiar with SVN or CVS and can write custom JavaScript code as well as customize jQuery. Good communication skills are necessary, and you should be hardworking, committed, and possess good analytical skills with a willingness to learn new technologies and skills. You should be capable of leading and handling modules or assignments independently, understanding complex business requirements, and translating them into web applications. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience working on live Magento E-commerce websites, strong object-oriented and database programming skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities. You should be able to perform coding, unit testing, debugging, and maintaining existing systems with minimal supervision while delivering high-quality results. Strong analytical, design, troubleshooting, and client-side debugging skills are also necessary. A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred, although relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. A Master's degree in related areas would be a plus, and any computer application certifications are applicable to the role.,
