Role & responsibilities

JD - Sr. Adobe Commerce (Magento) developer who can function as the technical expert on a complex B2B eCommerce application where Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is the storefront and Adobe Commerce provides the headless commerce services (we are not using the Adobe Commerce storefront).

Responsibilities:

Implement custom functionality in Adobe Commerce (Magento) using PHP

Produce quality code in keeping with best practice methods

Perform tasks regarding development, configuration, and data transfers

Setup interactions between Adobe Commerce and other systems (such as AEM, Mulesoft, and others), via GraphQL and API calls

Troubleshoot issues, identify solutions and test scenarios needed to confirm new functionality meets business requirements, security, and quality standards

Setup site performance tasks using working knowledge of load testing techniques and best practices.

Proactively evaluate work requested and being performed to ensure efforts are aligned with expected project and best practice approach

Communicate clearly with the team to achieve a full understanding of effort needed

Communicate with QA and UAT teams providing guidance on how to test new features.

Keep up to date with all industry changes and latest methodology within the commerce industry as applies to coding practices

Update website features, security patches and Adobe Commerce configuration.

Participate in all Agile ceremonies

Participate in solution design & deployment activities

Participate in code reviews

Preferred Skills:

Adobe Commerce / Magento 2.x Certification(s)

Experience with B2B eCommerce

Experience working with global sites and many brands

Experience with Adobe Commerce or Magento serving over a million products

Experience working with Application Performance Monitoring & Management tools such as New Relic.

Experience working with Azure.
