Purpose/Objective

The statutory position under CMR 2017 is responsible for managing explosives across all shifts in underground and opencast coal mines. Key duties include preparing indents, ensuring compliant storage, and maintaining statutory records of issuance, usage, and storage. The role also covers online filing and submission of returns under the Indian Explosives Act, 1884, as well as monthly, quarterly, and annual filings to DGMS, Thana, PESO, and other authorities. The incumbent must ensure compliance with licensing requirements, including renewals and modifications for explosive magazine buildings. Additionally, the role involves multitasking within the magazine and stores, such as GRN creation and material handling.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Issue explosives only to competent persons; reissue returned explosives before issuing fresh stock. - Record in a boundpaged register the names of competent persons, along with the quantity and type of explosives issued and returned. - Ensure each canister is securely locked before issuing; verify that returned canisters are locked. - Do not issue explosives in canisters that are damaged, unfit for use, or incapable of being securely locked. Qualifications and Experience

Essential - BSc/B.Com/Diploma in Material Management Desirable/Preferable - At least 1-2 years' experience in Store / Inventory Management Total Years - 1-5 Years
